Roper Dryer not Drying
Hello!
I have a Roper Dryer (mod. # REX3614PWO) that doesn't dry. I run the machine holding the door switch in, and the following happens: Heating Element comes on for ~ 30 - 40 seconds, shuts down for ~ 1.5 minutes. Heating Element comes back on, only for about 20 seconds this time, and shuts down for at least 2 minutes, and the pattern continues... less time for the heating element and more time for the intervals between. Is this a thermostat issue?? Is that hard to deal with? HELP!
Thank You!
Rich M.
(p.s. I've already checked my ductwork... it's fine)

Get a thermostat and place it in the exhaust. The thermostat should reach 160 and then shut down and drop to 120 F and start back heating to 160 again on cotton setting. You should hear an audible click when the thermostat opens and closes. If the dryer is clear of lint and blockages then change the control thermostat which is mounted on the blower housing.
