I just moved into an apartment that features this washer as part of the appliance package. It's about 3 years old. My problem is it doesn't seem to have a true gentle cycle. When I set the timer knob for the gentle cycle, it washes at the same speed as the normal cycle; it does stop and sit periodically during the cycle. According to the roperappliances.com site, this model has "2 Wash/Spin Speed Combinations" and a "Delicate Cycle". Am I doing something wrong? Does this model really have a slower, gentle cycle speed? Do you think this unit is malfunctioning? Thank you...
