Router not turning on
I recently updated my router firmware because the router LED button was flashing on and off and when i typed in 192.168.1.1 it asked me for patching the new firmware.After doing so,it asked me for router username and password and i entered the default username and password but it didnt work.So i took out the lan cable and switched off mu router.After plugging back the power cord no lights are flashing(router not turning on).The power cord is fine.Please help. I tried to reset router but it didnt turn on.

It may be the AC jack has been damaged due to pulling on the power cable, wiggle the plug while in the device. Try to reset the device to default settings. After a firmware update the setup CD may not work, go online to reconfigure.
ac jack is fine.Tried resetting but didnt turn on.Went to hardware shop and they told me something in it fused.Thanks for reply anyways!
