Router wont connect to the internet
I was trying to set up a password so no one else would have access to my wireless internet so, i went on the WEP feature and on the first security key box, i deleted what was on there and replaced it with another number thinking it was renewing a password. when the connection started restarting, i immediately lost connection to the internet and now my computer detects the router but it wont connect to the internet through it. right now, ive gone back to using the lan cable. PLEASE HELP, I need my network back asap. thank you!

Two things, first try power cycling the modem and router. Unplug both of them for about 30 seconds then plug the the modem in first let, let it cycle through and then power up the router. If that does not work you might need to reset the router and restore the factory defaults. Let me know how it goes. Thanks
