Rp 3100 Drum Problem
I have a Risograph RP3100 that we have not used for a couple of months. When we tried to use it there is what I would call a dry spot on the drum and the text in that area does not print. I tried pulling the master back and rubbing the area with alcohol but that did not help. Any ideas????

You can clean it, thats a good idea but,,(and this is messy) roll back the master.. take out the ink cartridge, use a rod to squeeze some ink onto the area, and smooth it out into the screen with a plastic scraper.. Lay the master back over. Keep scrap paper around and print a big black square and run a couple hundred sheets through.. This will work. Messy but will work. If you don't want to manually put some ink on the area.. Print a large black square and run a couple hundred sheets.. see what that does.
