I recently removed Roxio Creator software that was pre-installed on my Dell pc. Subsequent to the uninstall, my drive will not recognize any type of disc. When I close the tray, the "green" light rapidly blinks for a few seconds and then stops. I have the latest driver update from Dell (TSST corp DVD+-RW TS-H553A). The drive is recognized in "My Computer". I have run the Troubleshooter, System Restore and the solutions offered through Microsoft's Support Center (e.g. deleting the UpperFilter and LowerFilter from the registry, removing the device through Device Manager and then reinstalling with the "found new hardware" Wizard, etc.).
