Unit continues to freeze liquids in the refrigerator compartment even after control being moved to lowest possible setting. I have turned it off and unplugged it before adjusting the setting again. Is this a thermostat issue? If so, can I replace the thermostat my self?

I have the same problem with this model. I just called Avanti service and they asked if the temperature probe was hanging, which mine is. It needs to be reclipped and that is supposed to fix it. Hopefully this works.
I am about to purchase one of these--Have you found a solution yet??
