Saeco Viena De Luxe ?
Hi Mirran,
I have Saeco Viena De Luxe that I inherited from my cousin.
In the past, I have repaired it couple time myself.
Recently, I turned it on , and the green brew light was flashing non-stop.
My understanding, when it stop flashing the required temperature is reached and machine is ready for brewing. First toughts was a temp. sensor is bad.
Sol, I took all the "guts" out checked the sensor and measured thermal elements, one showed approx. 54 ohm, why other was 5 megaohm. Definitely it's open. Machine is pretty old, so the question is, does it worth to buy a new boiler unit to repair?

Yes, if i would you i should repair the machine, that are a good machine.
When you replaced the boiler, make sure you descale it regulary then you will have many good espresso:-)
