Saitek X52 Joystick
When my Joystick is connected to the throttle control and then connected to my laptop via a USB port the throttle contorl works perfectly fine but the Joystick is not recognised and the lights blink. I have used my Joystick before, many times actually, this has happened once before and I managed to get it workign again, but only recently has this happened that I cannot get it. I use the Saitek X52 Flight Control for FSX. Please help me if you can. Thank you.

I have had this exact problem and it's very frustrating! I finally fixed mine by doing the following:
I go under the hardware controller in windows and uninstall the drivers for the controller and uninstall any software associated like sst. Then I take ONLY the throttle controller and unplug the flight stick from it with the p/s2 connection. Then download the correct drivers for your stick model and run the install. It will ask for you to plug in the controller to continue and then you can plug in the isolated throttle controller through the usb. Install as usual and then when done you can plug in the flight stick to the throttle controller. Should work perfectly if done correctly.
Try deleting the drivers for the joystick, visit Saitek website get latest drivers and re-install the joystick, might fix the problem.
