Samsung HL -5656 fan light blinking BUT no other lights blinking
I have a Samsung DLP HL-t5656. The picture is out and when I try and turn it in the lamplight flashes 15-16 times then flickers and flashes another 11 times before going out entirely. I am sure I need a new bulb BUT the owners manual says all three lightsshould be flashing if anew bulb is needed. Ideas?

Its probably not the lamp but I would try it first. Buy it from a place that will take it back as I suspect you have a bad power supply. http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/popup/iframe/pop_troubleshooting_fr.jsp?
