Samsung hln4365w - no pic. or sound. it whistles a few times when powered on
I have Samsung DLP HLN4365W. The bulb was replaced around 6 months ago. It ran for about 5 months, then we started hearing a humming noise, while TV worked ok. Around a month ago, we lost pic and sound both. Now when I turn the power it sounds like some thing is getting charged up and then it whistles. This is repeated around 3/4 times and then all the sounds stop and we see all the front lights up i.e. Timer and Lamp stay flash green and Temp flashes red.

We have the same DLP set and had the same problem. The Color Wheel, P/N BP96-00250A, a $200 part needs replacement to eliminate your problem.
