Samsung J700 not loading software, stops on the 'Samsung Logo'
This phone had some splashes of water on it and the user didn't know it had to be turned off immediately. The phone was normal for about 1.5hrs and then started to lock up. It got to a point where it only loads to the Samsung logo before making the welcome jingle and loading the software. I opened the phone to pieces and gave it a general clean and hot air dried and left for 2 days opened. Assembled it again but same problem occurred. Tried to connect it with the PC, it recognised it but doesn't appear in My Computer for obvious reasons as it is no loading the software. Tried from the Samsung Suite but it doesn't find it. From the Device Manager it appeared as Samsung J700 but I think it was marked as modem. Any help of what can be done? Thanks in advance Matt

Hello, unfortunately, I don't think any help can be done now. It's too late. If the owner had remove the battery and dried the phone immediately it splashed into it, there would have been hope.
As it is now, the phone board is defective. The water and power entering into the phone can bridge/affect the component on the phone board.
You need to get another board at this point. Or leave the phone phone a while (maybe a week), and go back to it. You may me lucky it comes up.
To face reality, you need and phone board because the board is dead and will be difficult to revive.
I hope the above is clear.
