Samsung LCD TV, no picture only sound
Samsung 52inch LCD TV. When turned on the picture flickers for a few seconds and then goes off. There is still sound. It is out of warranty by 2 weeks and Samsung have refused to help!

Is the picture clear when on? if yes, does the screen go black after a few seconds. if yes, sounds like you need a back light inverter!
My Samsung LNT4669F has two problems..the first is that it takes about 3 minutes to turn on. The red light at TV bases flickers on and off but the sound is there back and forth..Finally, the wite light at base turns on and the TV makes a noise as if it just got turned on and it stays on..why does it take so long?
Secondly, sometimes, the HD channels flicker so badly that I cannot even watch TV..so badly that sometimes the picture is blank..however, the regular channels are fine..Can you help?
