I've only had this laptop a month, and the function key has stopped working properly. It is always on, so F1 - F12 are no longer able to serve their purpose. Instead, they always perform the function instead. I suppose it's not too problematic, but F5 never refreshes pages now, it just freezes my cursor (helpful, yes?). Normally, it would have been Fn+F5 for that effect. It has the biggest impact on me when I'm programming in an IDE because they'll often have very useful key mappings to F6 or F11. I could just remap all the combinations.... but I figured I'd check to see if I could solve the problem first. This is a laptop not a netbook, so fn+numlock does absolutely nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions?
