Installed with 90 degree angles should they be 45 degree is this causing the oozing at the lid\/

Is not recommended to use 90 degree elbows in the discharge pipe. Is recommended to use 45 degree elbows back to back with a small piece in between or long sweeping elbows. Using hard 90 degree elbows creates resistance in the discharge pipe and does not allow the unit to pump out the waste as efficiently as it should.
