Sawzall wont turn
OK I have two of these, one is an older model, the other one is a newer model (removable power cord etc.) BOTH of them worked fine for about 20 seconds
then they both decided to quit doing anything, i have adjusted the brushes, checked the entire interior wiring, check the output of the outlets, quite literally ruled out anything except the devices themselves.
Neither of them were subjected to any physical load whatsoever then they quit and neither of them make an effort to spool.
A bit at a loss here....

OK you lost me on the second one. All you have to do is keep the brush tube from moving (UNPLUG TOOL) and using the commutator pry up/push up on the spade terminal to reinsert it, you can also solder these direct to the tube using something like TinsTighter first. I don't understand about the brush and adjustment part. There is none. If this helped would you please rate the information. I still think on the second one a new set of brushes and the above might cure your problem.
