Make sure the device is not plugged into the computer during the drivers install. After all the files are installed plug the device into the computer. DO NOT PLUG DEVICES INTO "FRONT" USB PORTS ON THE COMPUTER AS THESE ARE "HUB" PORTS AND the system may not "see" the device.

Just double click the .exe file, and install it. Then, if prompted, connect the scanner. If you are able to finish the install without connecting the scanner, do a reboot with the scanner connected.

Hi,
It could be something to do with the bundled software having a missing or corrupt TWAIN32 file.. But you can Scan using Windows XP itself.
