For most Epson printers, including the all-in-ones, if you (for any document or image) click on FILE and then PRINT you can then click to go to PREFERENCES. When the dialogue page opens, click on the last TAB (Maintenance) and down the list should be one item covering changing cartridges. However, on some of the larger Epson printers, pressing once the INK button will move the printhead to the Charge Cartridge position - meaning a location where easy access to the cartridges is available, including opening the hinged top cover to access them but for the AIOs, normally you have to use the software facility as described. In general, as the Epson STATUS MONITOR runs when printing, if a cartridge runs out, a message will pop up saying one or more cartridges require replacing - and then one of the "buttons" you can click will (normally) be CONTINUE which will then, step by step, walk you through the whole process, easily and simply.
