Screen goes black but I can see contents if light is shined on it
After some time, the intervals change every time, the screen on my Gateway HX2000 monitor goes out. However, if I shine a light on it I can faintly see the contents of the page and after a few restarts on the monitor it may come back on. Could this be a blown back light even if its not older than a month?

YES - BUT - Most likely it is due to a bad cable from monitor to computer. or could also be bogus video card. Manufacturers Defects do happen though. I would chekc the cable first. If you got the receipt - Bring it back and get cha a new one!
