Screen goes black when turned down and it does
Screen goes black when I turn it down and it does not even revive by pressing any key. After few second the whole system turns off completely. I have to restart it all over. What could this be?

This is definately the power management in your laptop. You must click on start - settings - control panel and find the power / battery icon. Click on this icon and set the laptop to its preferred shutdown and turn on options. You have options such as sleep mode only, monitor shut off only, complete shutdown of cpu and monitor, monitor shutdown after 30 minutes , 1 hr or more. etc.... Normally any key on your keyboard including the mouse will turn on the monitor and cpu immediately after contact. Check to see what your computer is set too. Good luck

Need to open and check the cable connector of your lcd if fited,and try to clean the area of your keyboard by using a soft brush.([email protected])
Try removing suspend on lid close .. refer to your laptop manual .. try this too disable herbernation also ..if nothing works check if you have latest graphic driver !! it might be a problem with ACPI .. but my two solutions should work !!!
