Screen goes blank when I start up game
After installing the tested and garunteed nvidia gforce mx 4000 I bought of ebey, I started playing AOE III with no problems, but after putting the screen resolution up to max decided that it was a bit to slow and tried bringing it down to 1024-768, as soon as I applied this the screen went blank and the no 'signal sign' came up on my monitor,I could still hear the audio of the game but even after turning the monitoor on and off all I got was the same thing. I reset the computer and started the game up but the same thing happend after it got past the first mini title screen to come up, I have also tried running sims but the same thing happend. I am a bit of a novice so sorry if I this sounds like an easy to fix stupid problem but I would gtreatly appreciate any help!

why don't you go with the lower resolution itself as it was before. if you are not able to set the screen resoultion to lower what you can do is reset ur system. press F8 key continuesly untill you get advanced boot system. There you select "safe mode" and run the system. Once it is booted try changing the resolution. OR After getting the Advanced boot system you can also try by selecting "Last Known good Config......" so that it sets the old screen resolution...!
