screen is black with no picture
I have an AIPTEK camera called "ACTION HD" with 720P HD @ 60FPS. It was purchased in September & given to me as a gift for my baby's birth.
I took extremely EXCELLENT care of it and never had any problem. Then one day, i opened the camera to take a picture & I noticed that the picture on the "LCD monitor" or screen was irregularly dark..I assumed that I accidentally changed the contrast or brightness & closed the camera planning to adjust it later.
The next time that I opened my camera, about a day later... the screen apeared normal again. However, the picture on the screen began to flicker or scroll like a film being projected. While trying to resolve this problem I turned the monitor every way it goes & noticed that the flickering/scrolling would stop when I put pressure on the monitor, pushing it towards the body of the camera, where they are hinged together.
But, at one point the screen went blank & I have not been able to get any picture on the screen at all. Obviously I have tried to charge it & also push different buttons hoping to fix it. And by pushing the different buttons I somehow hit play video & could hear my saved video playing but the screen stayed blank with no picture.
The lights work on the camera, it is fully charged, it beeps when I push a button (as it should) it just has no picture at all!!
PLEASE this camera IS SO IMPORTANT for me to capture memories & everyday that it goes unfixed I lose the chance to capture these one time moments!

My AIPTEK 1080p was powering on but the screen was turning off within one second of turning the unit on. I verified that the camera was still working and just the output onto the screen failed. I was able to resolve this by hooking the camcorder up to the TV and viewing the menus on the TV and then turning the camcorder off with the power button. I think this problem happened because I didn't do a "clean" shutdown the last time I had my aiptek hooked up to the TV. It is now working perfectly!
