Screen not starting after installing graphics card
I just bought a new gfx card xfx 8600 gt for my mother board asus p5ld2 vm and have 17 inch screen tft the screen wont start the windows is starting (getting to know from the sound)

The XFX NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 256MB DDR3 PCI Express card uses two DVI ports on the back of the card. Display is most likely coming from the second port. Try moving your monitor cable to the next DVI port. You can do this while your system is running.
If you still do not receive display, post that here & we'll go over some other possibilities.

Hi rohit1987, from time to time when you add a new device (In your case a new video card), at boot up the cmos may want you to enter the bios. (Even though everything is at default setting).
The bios saw the new graphics card. This doesn't always happen for everyone. In such cases you can try clearing the bios jumper, wait ten seconds & move the bios jumper back to normal. At boot up enter your bios & re-check all your settings. Save & exit. This should stop the request to enter bios at every boot-up. Below is the link to Asus.
