I have seen this before and similar a couple of times from what I can gather it is something to do with prom damage and it software glitches and shuts the screen off. What you see is the screen shut down sequence, and depending on what side of the register it is is the way it goes when it shuts down, that's what "Gives it away", when fault finding.I have had success with a Factory Reset, (You may like to try that) on one or two, the others were "Hard" faults, and when it comes to an internal work, it really does have to be returned to an authorised service center, as they are the only ones with the, rooms, tools and data on the instruments. However they ended up being Non-economic repair, meaning it was going to cost almost as much, if not more than a new comparable one.. You really need to get your service manual and your user manual, Google for both, just use the exact make and model and the words service manual in the Google search bar.
