There is a corrupt file that was partially imported.You need to flush the program cache.Go to System Restore Point and see if you can go back to the day before this problem happened.Now, on a separate disk backup any data you have saved just before this install point.Restore to the old desktop state. This often solves the problem but will potentially erase all data up to that date.
