Screen sometimes lights up but mostly stays dim
Screen sometimes lights up but mostly stays extremely dim so i have to use an external monitor, i was wondering where the lid close switch is on my acer aspire

You have a bad connection on the LCD ribbon, or a cracked LCD ribbon, or the Inverter is intermittently faulting, the backlight/circuit is faulting. It is hardly ever the switch....but it is under the end of the screen look for a tiny black stick.
