I am using windows 7, my laptop can't detect the SD card when I insert it to the card slot. anyone can help?

Did you install your memory card reader drivers?
If you didnt, install it and it will read your SD card.
The drivers should come with the CD that came with your laptop.

You can also purchase a usb SD card adapter, it is not costly.
