Searching for PC ?
When I was listening to music it randomly stopped and when I looked at it, It said "Searching for PC". Even when I put it on the USB attached to the computer it still says searching for PC. I tried to turn it off, Didn't work. I switch the USB ports and it's still saying the same thing. It's BRAND new, Out the box for 6 hours.

Great! I just spent the last week uploading songs, pics and videos on an Insignia Sport 2gb for my niece's mom to give to her for her birthday. I just disconnected it from my PC and it says,
"USB connected Searching for a PC" it won't turn off. DAMN @!%$ I wasted too much time that I didn't have to waste already! Now I have to go take the P.O.S. back and start all over again!! OMG - I can't believe this!
It shouldnt be searching for the pc unless it detects a conection.
Sounds like a usb error, I would take it back and get a replacement. 6 hours and problems i wouldnt even mess with it. back in the box and back to the store
Theres a time to fix equipment and that when the warranty runs out, take it back and ask if anyone else has had problems with this mp3 player
