Save your money. I just loaded College Football '97 to check. This game cartridge does not have a save feature. In fact, very few Genesis games had a save feature built into the cartridge. Try playing Sonic the Hedgehog 3; this cartridge does allow the player to save his game. Buying a new Sega Genesis will not grant you the ability to save your progress. If you wish to play this game and save your progress, emulation is your only viable option. Google search "Kega Fusion" for more information on that topic.
