Self Starter problem with Karizma R (Sep 2007)
I have a problem with my Hero Honda Karizma bike.
At times when I switch on using the key, the neutral light (green) does not light up to its full brightness. In this case as soon as I activate any electrical device like horn / signal / headlight, the green light goes dead.
Even using the self starter does not work, and neither does the kick start work.
The only work around in this case is turning the key multiple times, when once in a while the neutral light glows at full brightness. In this case all the functions work as normal (I am able to start the bike with self starter or kick start). I have checked the battery and cleaned its terminals myself, and the battery seems to be fine.
Can anyone please throw some light on whats wrong with the starting mechanism / bike?

Check the fuses too and basically all the wiring, there could be somewhere a loose connection also check the wires at the solenoid switch.
