Sennheiser 126 connect to tv
I am trying to hook up my Sennheiser rs 126ii wireless headphones to my TV. It's a Panasonic TV and when I asked around, I was told that these headphones weren't compatible with my TV. However I was also told they were. The unit has two plugs - a red and black - and the TV has no headphone jack. The problem is when I go to plug these in, there doesn't appear to be any audio output components. Everything on the back/side of the TV seems to be input only. The only output I saw was an audio output that connects to a receiver that is not used (the receiver is never turned on). I tried unplugging the receiver, but the output in the back of the TV is only one jack and does not fit a component. The only other things hooked up to this TV are a cable box and a PS3, but the PS3 is not used that often. The issue is we are trying to use these headphones for TV watching. Is there any fix? Or is this TV just not compatible (I don't have the exact TV specs right now but it's either an LCD or LED). I always figured a TV would have an output jack in the back.I know they are (somewhat) working because when I do plug them into the input jacks in the back, I hear static and buzzing through the headphones.

You should be able to hook the tv to the cable box the cable box should have your A/V jacks. If so unplug the PS3 plug in your receiver to the cable box and run the PS3 through the receiver. Also check the side of the tv for HDMI inputs if you have HMDI you can go to Radio Shack and get a converter to go from HDMI into A/V
