Sensitive Temp adjustment through shower
Turn water on through tub spout and temp is easy to adjust. Flip to shower and water gets hot and is very sensitive to adjust. You have to turn way over to cold, then very gently turn back to hot to get warm water. I have this problem in two bathrooms. I replaced the inner valve and did not help. Both are Moen Chateau single handle....older.

Pull the trim off of the valve and you will see a 1 inch diameter flat screw, unscrew that and clean it out and try it again. If rinsing it doesn't work you may need to replace it. It is called a balancing caulk.
