Where can I plug the Serial ATA cable coming from my new HD to this motherboard? Or do I need an adaptor?

The M863G V3.0 motherboard doesn't support SATA drives directly, so you'll need an adapter between the SATA drive and the IDE connection on the motherboard. Some of these adapters are a little bulky, so make sure you have enough room. Also, you'll need a spare power connection for the adapter. Good luck!
