Shark Intelligent Electronic Iron - how to clean the soleplate?
I have the Intelligent Electronic Iron Model G1490F 11. After doing the first "self clean" there is some water staining on the soleplate. In the booklet it specifically states not to use anything abrasive on the soleplate to clean it. What would you suggest be used?

Try a "magic eraser". They're minimally abrasive. Then run the iron over a piece of waxed paper and then on a cotton cloth or rag.
