I have tried setting up the alarm to play music from my iPhone for the alarm many times. All the alarm will do is beep. While setting the alarm I have the power off and use the alarm clock setting. I first set the time, then I choose from beep, ipod, or rA. Next I set the days with 7,5,or 2. I turn the clock back on, set my phone on the stand, and push the alarm button to set it. Does Itunes have to be opened on the phone to play when the alarm is ready? I have tried all different types of combinations with the settings. The alarm will not even use the radio either, it will only beep. I'm thinking there is a malfunction with the alarm clock. If I am forgetting to do something else please inform me.
