Shortcircuited MBOX Pro

I have an MBOX Pro that is broken, My duaghter put a small screwdriver in a firewirecable connected to the MBOX pro. The MBOX was connected with another FW cable to the MAC whilst switched on. Sound shut dow, LEDs do not work, Protools does not see the hardware and will not boot up. Do you have experience with this and how much will this cost about to repair?
