Shower fell apart or actually blew off under water pressure
I have tried to put it back together again but some of the soft plastic toungues are broken.
We have two same shower heads in the house and 2 weeks later the other one blew apart and we had not tampered with it. I cant get this back together either. The water pressure keeps blowing the "holed part and slide ring off. The funny thing is that the second one is rarely used and although a bit of grunge inside not substantial

Check water pressure valve if you are on city water it may be bad and allowing water to be more than it can take.
If this is the case you can make you up a gauge on a water hose connection to hook up to and outside faucet to get a pressure reading.
