I'm a step behind you on this problem. I have the exact same model, and the belt fell apart. I was given this unit, and I doubt the belt was ever replaced before. Do you happen to know what size belt it is? I tried calling Sears; and they didn't have the part anymore and they were of no use on getting a cross reference number. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
loosen the four nuts on motor then loosen the bolt on back slide engine front put on belt push engine back make bottom nut tight . make engine bolts tightloosen the four nuts on motor then loosen the bolt on back slide engine front put on belt push engine back make bottom nut tight . make engine bolts tight
