Sideways diff movement
1996 1100 sport carburetted. When I inspected the rear drive I noticed some sideways movement. It appears the diffp housing is not hard up against the axel washer i and swing arm.How can it be eliminated.

When you say you have play is it coming from the wheel bearings or the swing arm .if there is play like that and the axle is tight it sounds like wheel bearings ,but to be sure take the bike to a guzzi specialist to be positive.hope this helps
