Simpson swf85561 wont drain, spin or wash goes to end cycle
Hi we had a load in and come to check on it but it had finished washing but hadnt drained or spun the clothes, pressumed it had just unbalanced. the machine wouldnt spin or drain so we took the clothes out. we can select drain, spin or wash, but when we select start it works for 5 seconds then flashes to end cycle. for example if we select drain the machine starts up as usual pushes out a cup of water then says end cycle, if we select wash the tap starts up for 5 seconds then machine goes to end cycle. the washing machine is out of warranty by 2 months. any help would be great cheers

It sounds like your outlet is clogged. Unplug the Washer first. You need to take off the back, there is a plastic piece attached to the hose where the water comes out. It may look like an enclosed bowl. Items that get sucked in, socks, scarves, etc... tend to get caught into this. If it is supposed to be clear, but it isn't, then there is something stuck in there. You must pull it apart and remove the laundered item.
A way to avoid this happening in the future, if this is the cause, is to put small washable items in the center of the load. Do not overload the washer.

You would be surprisedd @ what can go through the lines. I was not talking about the filter. It sounds like the drain pump is clogged.
hi i took apart the pump as in the pic, there was a propeller but no debris, i also took the lint filter out and flushed between the lint filter & the filter pump, some calcified flakes come out so i repeated flushing until no more material come out. Still same problem as before :(
