Sirius satellite radio constantly shows "acquiring signal"
I recently replace the antenna for my satellite radion. The cable was broken. There was no longer any audio and the display shows "acquiring signal". The symptoms remain the same after I replaced the antenna. Checked the signal strength in the menu and saw that the signal strength was sufficient. Now, I intermittently get audio, but more so "acquiring signal". Called Sirius and they insisted that it had to be the antenna. I disagree. It is highly unlikely that both antennas would have the same problem. I read on Yahoo, tha the tuner could be bad. Any suggestions?

It could be the connection on the back of the reciever that could be bad. I would call sirius and see if your reciever is under warranty still, if not i can almost garauntee that your tuner antenna input is bad, if your antenna is brand new.
