Sirius Stiletto SL100 not recording Replay
I have a Stiletto SL100 and a few months ago, it stopped recording Replay channels and will not record scheduled recordings. It says that it is recording, but no recordings show in the library and the memory states that it is 72% full. I cannot find any recordings.
I have tried the Device Recovery process three times and it still does not work correctly. Is there a way to completely erase the SL100 and reinstall the firmware and software? Would that help? If so, does anyone have step-by-step instructions on how to do this so I don't render the radio completely useless?
Sirius technical support says that the radio should just be replaced, but I don't want to replace it if it can be repaired.

It is due to the differing transmission signals on shows and channels that originate from the Sirius studios that used to be XM studios. You will notice it is not on all channels, and on some channels not on all shows. The channels and shows that don't work aren't marking the breaks between the songs with a signal that your stiletto is listening for.
Sirius technical support is overall much less than helpful, I have been hung up on, transferred to the department that cancels service and told that I need to buy a new radio.
A (rare) truthful and knowledgeable Tech Support gave me this information two days after the channel lineup and it has been verified by TS managers I have spoken with after being frustrated with subsequent calls.
The S2 has been updated (in april) for this problem.
We all need to call Sirius and demand that they support our radio and update the OS and ZAP code.
Just plug in the usb wire and wait a few minutes and see if new down load comes on your pc.Download it.You'll lose all recorded info. They say buy a new 1 when they're not sure whats up.Don't think many are trained. It's like a pc it bogs down .screws up.Needs up dates etc. union k
