Some bikes have date codes on the head tube/badge or elsewhere - Google (brand) bicycle date code. If the bike has the original paint and decals go to BikePedia and enter the make and model. Then just browse through the different years until you find a bike that matches your paint scheme. For more info on serial numbers, etc. see How to determine the year value etc of your bicycle
I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/donald_f2ed37026a3ac881
If you find a shop selling them they should know the year by the serial number or the paint job on the bike, they even might have a catalogue with your bike pictured.
