Slow printing problem
When a job is sent to the printer, it takes abnormally long before printing begins. Once it begins printing the speed is fine.
I think my problem may be virus scanning. Is there a directory that needs to be excluded in virus scanning for Zebra printers?

Take a look at your label design. If you have a lot of text fields using true-type fonts or graphics, this can result in a delay before printing. The font info has to be sent to the printer before printing. If this is the case, change the fonts to an "internal zebra font". These are fonts that reside in the firmware of the printer and result in much faster throughput. The fonts are usually listed in the software and/or printer driver you're using.
