I installed a SMC EZ Connect g SMCWUSB-G 802.11g adapter to a friend's Acer Aspire 9300/XP SP2. It gets a good signal from the ATT UVERSE router but for some reason isn't able to renew the IP address. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the router settings but not sure where to start. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks
