I bought typewriter used, but it worked until I ran out of correction tape. I replaced the cartridge once and it wouldn't work so I made sure the second one was exactly what was called for, same problem. It looks like the ribbon doesn't move in front of the keys when doing the backspace corrections/word correction, etc. I downloaded a manual which didn't help. It is frustration because it shouldn't be that difficult. I was sticking my fingers all around in it, could I have moved something?
