Smith & Wesson Model 29, 41, 44, 586, and 629 Information Requested
I have been asked to help an executor of one's estate and there was a nice size armory. I have been able to date most of the other long guns and hand guns but have trouble with the S&W until I found this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated as the bank requires as good of a description as can be provided.
The guns are not yet in my possession but what I have learned is that the deceased was very meticulous with the care and upkeep of everything they owned and kept extensive records on most everything, cars, furniture, appliances, etc. but I have not found the records for any of the contents of the safe.
At this time I only have the below information:

3. Model 29 44 Magnum Classic Serial # BRB7734
4. Model 586 357 Magnum Serial # CBC263
