Smoke coming out of front smells like plastic

6 year old machine and been really good!. this am my daughter came down to a plasticky smell in the kitchen and smoke coming out of the machien [ approx 3 hours after was completed overnight] I emptied the machine and switched back on . panel light off and machine running/draining. opened door still running/draining and panel light still off. any help much appreciated. had a five year guarantee and just ran out !!
