So, my tail light on nissan maxima 2004 were out, the fuse was blown so I replaced it. Tail light work but dashboard lights are out when lights are on, in all positions,switch them off and dashboard lights come back on, any ideas?

Dashboard lights are brighter when lights are off so you can see stuff in the daylight-check and make sure you have the correct bulb and its plugged in correctly-something is confusing the cpu-a blown fuse usually means something is shorted out-check for cut or bare wires around your tailamps-cheers Denny
