Soap (Simply Green) is not being pulled from ciphen hose? I unscrewed the brass male fitting, where the clear cyphin hose is attached, and observed a small spring and ball bearing? Nothing appears wrong, what can or should I do to ensure outgoing stream of water contains the cleaning agent?

The system uses a Venturi format to transfer the soap into the line out. If there is a leak of any sorts, the vacuum component is compromised and it will not allow the soap to mix with water and flow as usual. If the soap is too dense for any reason, that too is a problem. Try to thing the soap solution to make it easier for the mixing process to evolve. If that fails, you may have to replace the bearing/spring assembly.
